Swift Alliance, trained by the successful Gai Waterhouse, won the 2010 Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes (1100m) at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on Saturday.
The four-year-old took out the field of nine from the sixth barrier, beating runner up and favourite for the race, Welkom Gold, by half a length.
Renamed the Sebring Stakes after Waterhouse’s 2009 Golden Slipper Stakes winner, the race was the last to take place on the Golden Slipper Day, rounding off nine great races.

Dorf Command was another favourite, and the Clarry Conners-trained mare finished in fifth place.
Rounding out the top three was Typhoon Zed by Zeditave. The gelding finished the 2010 Star Kingdom Stakes four lengths behind the winner.
Also taking place on Saturday at Rosehill was the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m), the Group 1 The BMW (2400m) and the Group 2 George Ryder Stakes (1600m).
